"description": "Open Oncall: sleep better without relying on a single provider. Primary alert source: a PagerDuty v3 webhook subscription (incident.triggered) posting to /api/webhooks/<this id> with custom header X-Open-Oncall-Token = secret OPEN_ONCALL_WEBHOOK_TOKEN. The same endpoint takes any other source (Alertmanager/Grafana, Datadog, Opsgenie, Sentry, or plain JSON {alertText, service?, repo?}); intake normalizes all of them, maps service → repo via SERVICE_REPOS and posts webhook alerts to ONCALL_CHANNEL. An alert lands in Slack (a human-posted message in an ALERT_CHANNELS channel that looks like an alert) or arrives by manual trigger {channelId, alertText, repo, simulateProviderDown?}. intake posts 'Investigating' in the alert's thread and plans a provider chain per step from the live agent registry (claude, then codex, then opencode). investigate runs the open-oncall-failover sub-workflow: logs/traces/metrics via the SigNoz MCP when available, recent commits and deploys via gh, and the code; on any failure of a provider it re-runs on the next harness. findings posts root cause, evidence, proposed fix and the one-click approval link in the thread. approval (the configured approver) gates the fix: approved runs the fix step through the same failover chain (opens one PR, never merges); rejected or timed out hands off to a human. close posts the final message (outcome, time to root cause, provider per step) and returns the run summary the Open Oncall app reads. Only repos in ALLOWED_REPOS are touched. Trigger {simulateProviderDown: 'claude'} for a failover drill.",
